Couch Style Vote Off

We are looking to purchase a new couch and love seat.  We really want a reclining set and La-Z-Boy seems to have the quality and styles we are looking for.  We will probably end up going with a solid color, but we are heavily considering going with a print.

If we went with a print, it would probably be:
Cover Color:Rouge (G980406)
Cover Pattern:Bayberry (G980406)

But we still can't decide on the couch model.  Leave us a comment on which one you like and why.

Jenna

Maverick
Pinnacle

Reese

  1. The print will hide dirty/stains but I would still go with a solid color, but that's just me. As for the model, Reese or Jenna, can't really say why just my style. The best test is see how it feels when you sit on it. Try blind foldering each other and sit on each one so you so you aren't picking by looks/cost. We did this with our mattress. My husband wanted the most expensive one, but I could tell the difference. He couldn't either ones I blind folded him, we got the cheaper one. :)

  3. I like the Reese or Jenna. Not sure about doing a pattern because I just feel that it is easier to add in things that have patterns such as curtains or rugs versus spending so much on a couch that will remain with the pattern no matter how your style changes. :) Good luck!

  4. Jenna all the way! Briggs if the Jenna doesn't work out. If you buy the Maverick, I will barf on it next time I visit you. It is so outdated looking! No to the pattern - go with a solid. The pattern is way too busy and as someone mentioned earlier, with the solid you can add things with patterns such as pillows, curtains, rugs, etc. I don't believe you have mentioned your interior paint choice but on the La-Z-Boy website I thought the solids in tan or gold would be nice with what you have already picked. 5. Jenna is my favorite style. I like the rolled arm and the cleaner lines. The way the other styles split the back cushion look dated in my opinion. Obviously I don't have to live with it though.

I would also go with a solid. Like others mentioned the pattern is way too busy. I think it would like better to incorporate pattern in your pillows, curtains, and rugs like others have suggested.
